Online Classifieds work! Whenever your website link is on an authoritative website, it counts as a vote of confidence in your website. To know which sites are authority sites, look at the Google PR (Page rank) score of a site as well as the Alexa ranking. Google PR score is out of 10, with 10 the highest and 0 lowest. With Alexa ranking, the lower the ranking, the better, with 1 the highest score.
Craigslist is one of the top sites, see the great authority rankings, it also uses geographic targeting:
- Google PR 8 (out of 10)
- Alexa Ranking 40
- Google PR score: 5
- Alexa ranking: 4430
